If you score each of the above elements between 0 and 10 for your business, what score do you come up with? In our experience, the vast majority of businesses score less than 285 – a long way from the potential maximum of 1,000!

What steps are you currently taking to improve each of these elements? Are you getting your staff to participate in your planning? Are they being encouraged to volunteer to carry out some of the planned activities? If you have a very low score in just one area, then that is the area to work on first.
