Emily Thomson LL.B (Hons) Dip. LP

  • Joining Aspire in July 2010, Emily graduated with Honours from the University Emily Thomson - Business Developmentof Glasgow in 2005. She spent her junior honours year living in Mainz and studying German Law at Johannes-Gütenberg Universität, then gained her Diploma in Legal Practice from Robert Gordon University’s Aberdeen Business School in 2007 and was offered a legal traineeship with a leading Aberdeen firm. Emily qualified as a Scottish solicitor in September 2009 and is now a non-practising member of the Law Society of Scotland.
  • A passionate communicator who believes in the importance of building successful working relationships where each member of a team is a valued individual. Her analytical mind and keen eye for detail are balanced with diplomacy and a unique approach to problem solving. Emily loves working with people and cares about making a difference, a sentiment borne out by the fact that she is currently volunteering for two local youth charity organisations.
  • An avid music lover, Emily spent eight years singing and touring with the National Youth Choir of Scotland, and now works as a freelance singer in her spare time. Other interests include film, television and the performing arts, travel and alternative therapies such as Reiki.
